Joana Gonçalves de Sá, the PI of the DS&P group, is also the Director of the PGCD. This started as a PhD program in the Life Sciences aimed at students from the Portuguese Speaking African Countries (PALOP) but has developed to become a series of initiatives in education and training, at different levels.
