A investigadora do LIP e coordenadora do SPAC Joana Gonçalves-Sá foi selecionada para integrar a rede de Embaixadores do Conselho Europeu de Investigação (ERC), passando a representar Portugal nesta iniciativa europeia.
Established in 2025 by the Association of ERC Grantees, in collaboration with the ERC, the network brings together researchers funded by the Council with the aim of strengthening links between the ERC, scientific communities and national policymakers, while promoting frontier research and raising awareness of funding opportunities.
Enquanto Embaixadora, Joana Gonçalves-Sá irá participar em eventos e debates públicos, colaborar com os Pontos de Contacto Nacionais e contribuir para a divulgação da investigação financiada pelo ERC.
With her appointment, the network now comprises 37 researchers from across Europe. Portugal’s representation is also being renewed, continuing the work of the country’s founding Ambassador.
