Angela Rijo

Angela is currently working on her PhD research project, under the supervision of Dr. Sven Waldzus, Dr. Cristina Mendonça, and Dr. Han van der Maas. The project is focused on the role of social identity in beliefs-updating and aims to address attitudinal change through the lens of complex systems.

She did both her Master's and her Bachelor's in Psychology and realized early on that she wanted to dedicate herself to conducting scientific research. She enjoys learning programming and new methods that help her address research questions.

Other than work, she is very much into movement and music, having had 10 years of training in contemporary dance.
