On July 3, 2025, Tomás Estrôncio, from the SPAC group, successfully defended his thesis “Identifying Inequalities in Information Diffusion on Social Media: A Study of Twitter Cascades Across User, Content, and Contextual Groups”, as part of the Master’s program in Physical and Technological Engineering at Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon.
His work was carried out under the supervision of Prof. Joana Gonçalves de Sá and Prof. Luís Humberto Viseu Melo.
