She returns with a much deeper understanding of networks and network science techniques, as well as exciting developments in the projects she has been working on with Prof. Juniper Lovato.
The first explores how LLMs infer personality traits, what factors influence these inferences, and how models adapt their political responses accordingly. The second investigates how knowledge from Wikipedia’s knowledge graphs is represented internally by LLMs.
Beyond the incredible knowledge she gained through research and collaboration in an interdisciplinary team, Íris also made new connections, new friends, and experienced a different culture – and a very different kind of weather! These experiences are part of what makes us better scientists: stepping outside our usual environments, encountering new perspectives and knowledge, and bringing them back to our work.
Welcome back, Íris!
